Kouvola Radio Museum
Radio museum has been in Kouvola since 1967. At first Vesa Harsi’s radio collection was displayed in his house at Kauppalankatu. Today Tube Radio Museum is located in Kouvola’s Museum quarter.
Museum has rooms for decades from 1920 to 1960 with corresponding radios and furnishing. In the Variable exhibitions room is a display of radios for different periods, military radios, tube radio components and radio repairing workshop.
As Museum’s functional, educational and demonstrational part we have Museum Radio Amateur station. Museum has a meeting room for small groups.
The Museum is open 15.6. – 31.8.2022
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 12.00 – 18.00
Saturday 10.00 – 16.00
In the winter season (1.9. – 31.5.) the Museum is closed. Open on request.
Entrance fee 5 €/person, children free.
